For thirty years I have been managing IT projects and programmes – in banking and insurance, manufacturing, public administration, healthcare and energy. Since 1999 I have worked under the iTiSPM brand. I help companies that need a project delivered, a firm structure put on their management, or a decision made on the numbers. For me, a good plan means it simply works out. And I always have a good plan. And if I suddenly don’t, then I always have a backup plan.

What I do

Project and programme management

I lead IT projects and programmes from brief to handover into operations: SDLC development, IT operations transitions, data migrations, regulatory projects. I also take over projects already under way that have run over their scope, budget or deadline, and bring them back under control: I set up governance, priorities and communication and see them through to the result. I have repeatedly run PMOs and development teams of up to fifty people, and as many as eighty on large projects or programmes. The projects and programmes I run typically carry annual budgets in the tens of millions of Czech crowns – on the order of two million euros.

Business consulting

Business analysis and advisory: requirements and impact analysis, project and resource management methodology, tenders and proposals (RFI/RFP). GDPR is a field of its own – from an impact analysis for day-to-day operations, through process design, to acting as an external Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Financial analysis

Financial management of projects and programmes: CAPEX and OPEX budgets, financial controlling, return-on-investment studies. I have led financial and management reporting projects – MIS, BI, data warehouses and data marts – for the finance and risk functions of banks. I understand the numbers and can explain them to the people who make decisions based on them.
